Eleanor Shao

  • Bachelor of Arts, Psychology Honours, University of Melbourne

Psychology Intern

Eleanor has recently completed a Bachelors of Arts (Psychology, Honours) at the University of Melbourne. Her Honours thesis investigated the relationship between personality traits and visual perception, titled, "An Investigation into the Interaction Between the Big Five and Visual Perception". After gaining some experience and doing some soul-searching she hopes to begin her postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology.

She is passionate about mental health, spreading awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, as well as encouraging conversations that help us to understand everyone’s experience of mental wellbeing versus ill-health. In her down time, she enjoys listening to music and going to gigs, hanging out with friends, and fitting in exercise where she can.

Eleanor contributes to The Inner Collective through our mental health and wellness blog, development of resources, and organising corporate and community events.
